§ 201. The Constitution as the Supreme Law

This section establishes the Imperial Constitution of the 9th Imperium as the supreme legal authority, outlining its role and preeminence over all other legal documents and laws within the Aksum Imperium.

  1. Supremacy of the Constitution:
    • The Imperial Constitution is hereby affirmed as the highest legal document within the Aksum Imperium.
    • All laws, decrees, regulations, and directives within the Imperium shall be consistent with, and subordinate to, the principles and provisions of the Constitution.
  2. Foundation of Legal System:
    • The Constitution serves as the foundational framework for the Imperium’s legal system, outlining the structure of government, the separation of powers, the rights and duties of citizens, and the overarching principles of governance.
    • As the cornerstone of the legal system, it guides the creation, interpretation, and enforcement of all laws within the Imperium.
  3. Binding Effect Across the Imperium:
    • The provisions of the Constitution are binding on all territories and realms under the Imperium’s jurisdiction, encompassing all citizens, institutions, and entities within these domains.
