The Aksum Imperium

The reviewing party and commander of troops will now conduct an inspection by "trooping the line,"  In the days past, and among ground units, "trooping the line" enabled the soldiers to physically identify their leader and allowed the commander to personally observe and evaluate their soldiers and equipment; to judge for their selves the capability to successfully engage in battle.

I turn about and face my unit when I see the reviewing party turn and comes towards us.  I command

COMMAND, ATTENTION. 

I command: Eyes, Right.  The subordinate commanders repeat and as the guidon dips we all salute the reviewing party.  

The reviewing party passes between me and the unit.

I face the IG Honor Guard.

The reviewing party approaches and command GUARD, ATTENTION.  EYES, RIGHT.

I watch out of the corner of my as the party approaches.

I turn and face the Forcecom honor guard and command:

COMMAND, ATTENTION, EYES, RIGHT.  I salute, as they leave, I say: 

READY, FRONT, and we all return to the position of attention.

I command to the colors,

ATTENTION, PRESENT ARMS.  All but the Imperial Flag is dipped. As the party leaves out of view, I command.  ORDER ARMS

My commands are echoed as I say, COMMAND, then I hear, HEADQUARTERS, ARMY, NAVY.  

I then command ATTENTION, and they repeat and then EYES RIGHT.

Each of the subordinate units command ready front as they pass us by.  I remain at attention saluting with the IMS colors and staff.

As they turn and pass the rear.  The Navy, then Army, then HQ, each command ready front, then parade rest.  I drop my salute.  command parade rest, and face the front.

As I see the party approaching the rear.  I command present arms then order arms.

I command, ready front and parade rest then I face the front.

As the reviewing party passes the last unit and they command ready front, the commander faces about. 

When the reviewing party approaches, I give the command attention.

After we inspected the troops and reach our position in the front.  I command halt and take my place at the front of the staff.

BRING YOUR UNITS TO ATTENTION.

Each unit echoes my command, when the last element finishes and they face me. I command

COLORS CENTER..........MARCH.  

The staff faces rate and then on the command Marsh they move to the right of the formation, making room for the colors.
All the colors march forward centered on the Colors.  I turn and command when they arrive.

FORWARD, MARCH
COlORS, HALT

SIR, THE COLORS ARE PRESENT.

The Supreme Commander responds.  PRESENT THE COMMAND.

I then faces to the right and march pass the colors and stands in front of the Staff.

I command.

BRING YOUR UNITS TO PRESENT ARMS

the command is echoed and each commander faces the front and salutes. I command the staff Present Arms.
