The Aksum Imperium

I have taken leadership of the project to rebuild the Aksum Imperium presence using another forum software and linking all sites with one login, including discord (tm).  

We are reviewing each module to ensure connectivity and updating based on guidance received.
I am the overall POC, for each specific area you would like to get input on, these individuals will address.

So far, Grand Officers and Grand Regents have been invited to the new site, and soon, they will be able to focus and provide updates on their areas of focus.  Please ask any questions here.  When it is time to transition, we will do an announcement and send a message.  Per the Emperor, there will not be any penalties for people transitioning late; your date of entry into aksum will be the same; your credits will transfer; if you had a location or land in this forum, you will have in the other.  We are looking at granting stimulus to boost the economy in the new system.

The behind the scenes things, right now are tied to roles. I can't change that. Beyond my pay grade, lol.

Not sure what  that's about, but.

New update.

The initial landing page, base database, forum platforum, new archives, new university platform, all have been set.  
The databases and base setup for each module connecting to the forum and the site are done.
We are now working some specifics and testing to make sure things work separately.  Once we meet the boss' approval we will start to expand entry.

Quick update:
1. You can still interact on this forum
2. There will be an rp event tied to the transition, following the general rules and practice of full immersion rp.
3. Two of thirteen modules are complete, we may combine. 
4. Still working some oauth/sso issues, so you don't have to sign on multiple times.
5. We are about to ask another group of folks.  We are adding based on your citizenship/nobility levels and roles in the Imperium.  This is coordinated by the Grand Imperial Council.  

My apologies for the lapsed time since the last update.  Real life can get in the way sometimes....lol

A question was asked about still using Discord.

We will. That was actually the easiest sso to setup.  Discord will serve a purpose.  We don't want it to replace the forums but compliment it.  More to come.

The roles will change, and we will likely archive previous chats and conversations.
With the five domains of the imperium, we will likely still have five servers, that will be linked in someway.  The Grand Regents of each domain will administer.  Each domain will have an immigration piece that is linked to the Immigration portal and module.

For those of you with multiple characters here, discord will allow you to have different personas.  You must interact with each one.  Any bleed-over between may force a removal of one of your extra persons.  Working on how discords multi-profile system fits with the new farum and modules.  Nestor is working that with his team.  

The Emperor has not stated if everyone will have to have a Discord account.  The only required accounts will be the one linked to the central platform.  More to follow (MTF)

It's looking good so far.  Can't wait to see the final product.

We had to rework it a little because of a server crash and hacking attempts.

The first module and the forums are up.  We have to re add some folks and then proceed with adding more.  We got direction to have something up by the 21st because of the IC Magnus.

So when I provide the link, please start the process.  I will have a feed for comments.

This forum will stay up until the other is fully mission capable.  Please observe the rp related to it. You all should have received something in your PMs.
