HEADQUARTERS, IMPERIAL SERVICE OFFICE of the GRAND MARSHAL AKSUM PRIME

IMPERIAL SERVICE GRAND MARSHAL DIRECTIVE Number 7.3-004.1 The Imperial Service Training, Education, and Doctrine Command Structure  

1. PURPOSE. This directive address the purpose of the IS Training Command in the structure of the Imperial Service Training, Education, and Doctrine Command (TREDCOM), pursuant to the authority vested in the Grand Marshal   

2. APPLICABILITY. This directive applies to the Office of the Grand Marshal (OGM), the Imperial Service Components and Major Commands, and all other organizational entities within the control of the Imperial Service and the Grand Marshal (referred to collectively in this directive as the “IS Components”).  

3. MISSION.  The TREDCOM mission is to recruit, train, educate, develop, and build the Imperial Service; establish standards, drive improvement, and lead change to ensure the Imperial Service can defend and secure the Imperium; and deter, fight, and win on any battlefield now and in the future.  The Mission of the Service Commands are to provide personnel to support the mission of TREDCOM and conduct service specific training within the parameters set by the CMTREDCOM and the VCMT.

4. Organization and Structure.  a. The Military, Imperial Guard, and Imperial Police Training and Education Command, are task organized under the Vice Chief Marshal/Chief of Staff; exercise command and control of individuals assigned to both the IS Education and Training Commands.  The subordinate training commands of each Service TEC (Military Training Command, Imperial Guard Training Command, and Imperial Police Training Command) are aligned under the Vice Chief Marshal for Training for all matters related to the mission of the TREDCOM Training Command.   b.  The Vice Chief Marshal for Training retains command and control of Training Command and its assigned elements.  Service Chiefs, through their TECs, shall retain administrative control of the personnel to include: assignment to TREDCOM, promotions, reductions, and discipline.  The CMTREDCOM shall coordinate with Service Chiefs on matters that are retained by the Service Chiefs. The Vice Grand Marshal for Support is the final adjudicator on issues that may arise between the Service Commands and TREDCOM. c.  The IS Training Command organization is  organized as follows: A Headquarters which contains, the Vice Chief Marshal for Training as Commander, who exercises command and control of the mission and personnel of Training Command; a Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff who is the second in command and oversees the headquarters and coordinating staff; and the Chief Warrant Officer of Training who serves as the senior enlisted advisor.

The Military Training Command (MTC), an element of the Military Training and Education Command (MTEC), includes:  A Headquarters which contains the Commandant of Military Training, who exercises command and control of the MTC mission; a Vice Commandant who assists the Commandant; and a Warrant Officer who advises on enlisted matters; The Initial Entry Training Division which contains the Chief of Initial Entry Training, support staff, and Drill Instructors and is responsible for orientation and basic military training for recruits and cadets. The Military In-Service Training Division, which contains a Chief,support staff, and Instructors; plans and conduct individual exercises for military units; and oversees military training centers;  The Military Technical School (Division) which contains a Chief, support staff, and Instructors; conducts military specialty training. The Imperial Guard Training Command (IGTC), an element of the IGTEC includes: A Headquarters which contains the Commandant of IG Training, who exercises command and control of the IGTC mission; a Vice Commandant who assists the Commandant; and a Warrant Officer who advises on enlisted matters; The IG Assessment and Selection Division which contains the Chief of IG Selection and Assessment, support staff, and Assessors The IG In-Service Training Division , which contains a Chief, support staff, and Instructors; plans and conduct IG Training for those already selected The Imperial Police Training Command (IPTC), an element of the IPTEC includes: A Headquarters which contains the Commandant of Police Training, Commandant of IP Training, who exercises command and control of the IPTC mission; a Vice Commandant who assists the Commandant; and a Warrant Officer who advises on enlisted matters; The IP Assessment and Selection Division which contains the Chief of IP Selection and Assessment, support staff, and Assessors The IP In-Service Training Division , which contains a Chief, support staff, and Instructors; plans and conduct IP Training for those already in service


5. RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS.  The VCM-T:  Organizes, directs, and manages the Training Command and all assigned elements. Provides management, staffing, and other operational support for IS activities and programs as they relate to training and readiness. Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Grand Marshal, the VGMS or CMTREDCOM

Service Chiefs retain administrative control of the personnel but may not make changes to TREDCOM organization structure. Service Chiefs may, however, recommend changes to the CM TREDCOM or through their TEC

6. RELATIONSHIPS a. In performing assigned functions and responsibilities, the VCM-T: Reports directly to the CMTREDCOM Coordinates and exchanges information and advice with IS Major Commands and Component Chiefs, other Imperial, System, and local agencies having collateral or related responsibilities and functions. Uses existing systems, facilities, and services, when possible, to avoid duplication and to achieve maximum efficiency and economy. b.  The VCM-T has operational control of the Commanders of the Service Command's Training Commands and may task organize them within the Training Command as needed d.  CMTREDCOM will coordinate with the Service Commanders for personnel matters.   e. Service Commanders (CMC, CKM, CPMG) through their Service TECs retain administrative control of their personnel. 

7. AUTHORITIES.  The CMTREDCOM shall delegate to the VCM-T authorities for which they are authorized 

8. ADMINISTRATION. The CMTREDCOM nominates the VCM-T to the VGMS. 

9. RELEASABILITY. Unlimited. This directive is approved for public release and is available in the forums and the archives.  

10. EFFECTIVE DATE. This directive  is effective May 2, 2022.
