Imperial Military Service/Order of the Crusader

The Imperial Military Service or IMS provides combat forces to support the Expeditionary and Quadrant Commanders missions. Its lineage is traced back to the Imperial Armed Forces. With the declaration of the 9th Imperium, the Imperial Military Service is concurrently the Imperial Order of the Warrior and in both statuses, serves as a As of the publishing of Imperial Directive 22-002 and Grand Directive 7.3-006, the IMS is organized with a Headquarters, with two subordinate organizations, the Imperial Army, and the Imperial Navy.

Directives, Polices, and Regulations

The CMC issues directives, policies, and regulations to establish structure and set standards of operations and conduct of the Imperial Military. These documents are subordinate to the documents issued by the Grand Marshal and Supreme Commander and typically is an expansion of those directives. The subordinate organizations may issue documents as well, but they can not supersede those of the CMC.
