Archivists are trusted operational editors responsible for maintaining the organization, integrity, and usability of the Imperial Archives.

Permissions

Archivists may:

• Edit and create pages
• Create and participate in talk pages
• Move pages and files
• Upload and replace files
• Roll back edits
• Patrol edits
• Mark their own edits as automatically patrolled

Limitations

Archivist status does not by itself grant page deletion, page protection, user-rights management, or full system-administrator authority.

Archivists must preserve source distinctions and apply the appropriate status to reconstructed material: Current, Amended, Historical, Draft, Approved source, or Reconstruction pending.
