Imperial Service Regulation Numbering System

Overview

The Imperial Service Regulation Numbering System, represented by directive23-001, is an administrative procedure established within the Imperial Service to enhance the clarity and consistency of identifying and referencing regulations and directives. This system categorizes regulations, assigns unique numerical identifiers, and defines the organizational structure of regulations and directives.

Purpose

The primary purpose of this directive is to standardize the numbering and organization of regulations and directives to facilitate ease of access, navigation, and reference.

Applicability

This directive applies to all regulations and directives within the Imperial Service, ensuring uniformity in numbering and organization.

Regulation Numbering System

Categories

  • Regulations are categorized using a two-letter code representing the subject matter. Each category is as follows:
    • JA: Legal Affairs
    • OP: Operations
    • AD: Administration
    • TR: Training
    • IN: Intelligence
    • LO: Logistics
    • DI: Diplomacy
    • ME: Medical
    • CO: Communications
    • SA: Security
    • HR: Human Resources
    • FI: Finance

Regulation Number

  • Regulations are assigned a unique numerical identifier within their respective categories. The number format is as follows: "Category-XXX-YY," where:
    • "Category" is the two-letter category code.
    • "XXX" is a three-digit number representing the regulation's unique identifier within the category.
    • "YY" is a two-digit number indicating the subchapter or section within the regulation, if applicable.

Structure

  • Regulations are organized hierarchically into chapters and sections to facilitate easy navigation and referencing.

Implementation

All new and existing regulations and directives within the Imperial Service will adopt this numbering system to ensure consistency and clarity.

Amendments

Amendments to this directive may be made by the Vice Supreme Commander (VSC) or other designated authorities with approval from the Supreme Commander.

Effective Date

This directive is effective upon issuance.

Review

This directive will be reviewed annually by the VSC for currency and relevance.
